By Plane from Bangkok By Bus from Bangkok

Flights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat take 50 minutes by Bangkok Airways then a short taxi journey to Laem Ngob Pier for the Ferry to Koh Mak. The fare from Bangkok to Trat is about 2500 Baht (approx £40.00) one way. Bangkok Airways is the only airline flying in to Trat. Air conditioned buses leave the Ekamai Bus station frequently to Trat from 6.00 am. Ekamai bus station is easily accessible by the BTS Skytrain. A Private Taxi will pick you up at your hotel or Airport direct to Laem Ngob. Journey time from Bangkok about 4 hours. Most Bangkok travel agents or hotels will arrange for you.

Taxi from either the airport or the Trat bus station takes about 20 minutes. If you can't pronounce Laem Ngob just ask for Koh Mak and you will be taken to the correct pier.

If you are traveling by car you will have to leave at Laem Ngob as there is no car Ferry to the Island
